The abandonment of fossil fuels and an increase in the share of renewable energy creates a growing need for energy storage in the energy grid. Energy storage systems can be used to store excess energy produced from renewable energy, such as solar panels and wind, and thus promote the use of clean renewable energy. Ampere+ has so far provided storage systems for home users, now with the addition of large scale systems that are better suited for industrial and commercial use.

“The changing energy market and the accompanying green shift need storage technology to balance it out,” said Arkadi Beinenson, CEO of Ampere+. “The introduction of large-scale energy storage will help to solve several bottlenecks for Estonian companies, such as more optimal use of renewable energy and timely sales, compensation of peak loads without increasing the capacity of the grid and, of course, ensuring energy independence and energy security,” added Beinenson.

By connecting standard-sized 129kWh+ and 1MWh+ modules together or in series, the company can create an energy system that meets its needs. Large-scale storage systems are suitable, for example, for existing renewable energy production units, for industries with high energy consumption, for companies in the agricultural sector and, of course, for systems injured by power outages.

Industrial energy storage has become increasingly necessary in the Estonian market, for several important reasons. Arkadi Beinenson points out the main reasons: “First, they allow the efficient use of solar energy, storing the excess capacity produced during daylight hours for its use during periods of peak demand or when solar energy is scarce”.

In addition, the recorder contributes to the health of the entire electrical network. “Second, these energy storage systems increase grid stability and reliability by regulating load fluctuations and providing backup power in off-grid situations, thus reducing strain on existing electrical infrastructure,” he added.

Of course, industrial energy storage solutions provide reliable power supply in remote or grid-deficient areas, ensuring uninterrupted operation of commercial and industrial facilities. “2022 clearly showed us that there are several problem areas in Estonia where there are constant fluctuations in electricity or long-term outages. For example, in the region of the Estonian islands. The Ampere+ team has done everything to ensure that Estonian companies and domestic consumers do not have to face similar concerns this year,” said Beinenson.

Ampere+ is committed to delivering reliable and efficient energy storage solutions that meet the demands of the Estonian market. The company's products are known for their seamless integration, user-friendly features, and exceptional performance.

Both CESS 129kWh+ commercial solutions and BESS 1mWh+ commercial and industrial storage solutions are now available on the Estonian market. For more information, visit https://www.ampere.ee/ariklientor get in touch info@ampere.ee.
